The Un-Official Magical Disappearing Stats/Leaders Crash Thread!!!

I desperately want this issue stamped out, and I'm sure everyone else who's had it wants it gone as well, so I'm starting this thread. If you have had the crash where your players stats have disappeared when you reload the league, please post here to help figure out the problem and get it fixed.

The characteristics of the crash include an error message reading something like:
OOTP has caused a crash in OOTP5.exe. OOTP will now close.

When you reopen your league there will be no Average leaders, because some stats have been erased.

PLEASE POST ALL THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION YOU KNOW ABOUT YOUR COMPUTER.

Processor Type and Speed: P4 866MHz
RAM: 384 MB
HD Space Free: 4.65 GB
Video Card: 32 MB Radeon
Sound Card: Soundblaster Live
Direct X Version: DX9 Final
Background programs running (use CTRL-ATL-DEL and type all the programs that are running at the time of the crash): EXPLORER, ZONEALARM, MEDIADET, ATIPTAXX, DEVLDR16, SWTRAY4, CTNOTIFY, RAMIDLE, MOZILLA.
Running with sound on or off: OFF
Running with 3D on or off: OFF
Screen Resolution: 1024 X 768

RAM: 96 MB
HD Space Free: 20 GB
Video Card: Voodoo 3 16 Mb
Sound Card: Soundblaster

MM_Tray, 3dfxman, Wzqkpick, loadqm, Vptray, Easykey, Systray, Dw
Running with sound on or off: OFF
Running with 3D on or off: ON
Screen Resolution: 1024 X 768
Crashed: 6 days in 1st season, 45 days in 1st season, 3 days in 2nd season. All in manager mode. Fictional players, all started in year 1904. 2 leagues, 8 teams each. Never add ANY problems with OOTP4.

Just created a new league, simmed 40 seasons without any problem... Not in manager mode, started in 2003. Changed the HTML exporter to Explorer.
