Harry Harper's 44 inning scoreless innings pitched was broken in a Senators 3-1 win over the Boston Red Sox on May 31st 1916. Harper (6-3, 1.30) held the
St Louis Browns scoreless in the final 4 innings of a Browns win on May 9th and Harry did not allow a run during the first four innings of his latest win.

is a shame the game doesn't keep records of such and other stats for record keeping …. one day perhaps

as I know eventually it will get done in a few versions down the line.
