Was excited to open Sandy Koufax - was much less excited to see a 1957 reliever with no movement or control. what 'record' did he break that year?

He was the last pitcher to pitch an inning for the Brooklyn Dodgers franchise before they moved to Los Angels in that 1957 season.

Other than that I cannot find any sort of record.
