Loading Historic Uniforms

Hi folks. Having a bit of trouble loading historic uniforms using OOTP 26. I go to the team setting page but when I try to select a uniform from the list, the uniform in the picture does not change. Maybe the wrong path? What is the correct path? Also, when I look at the uniform list on this page, it ends after listing 1,000 uniforms. How can I see all of the uniforms on this page. Getting really frustrating. Please give me a hand with this if you can. Thank you.

When you press select to bring you to the list, at the top there's a few options, one of them is filter. Click that and it gives the option to search the list. There's also options below the search box that has your team's city name and team name. You can click on one of those and it gives you all the jerseys that have either that city or team name.

If you put a uniform jersey in the /jersey folder for example, it should auto-load if properly formatted for that team in that year. There is no way around the 1000 list cap. It's very, very annoying. To navigate to a particular jersey that is below the line, create a subfolder in /jerseys and name the folder "a-a through Chicago" or something and put the first 999 uniforms in there. Then repeat and have the next folder be "a-Cinn to E" and keep repeating. Notice I have it as a- at the beginning. This is so it is at the top of the list when you go to /jerseys. Then - if you must manually navigate - you can go to the subfolder and find what you are looking for.

Uniform Search

Thanks, Grunge. I used the filter as you suggested. Selected "California" and saw all of the uniforms. When I selected one of them, the uniform on the figure did not change. It seems the game is not seeing the uniforms in order to use it. Not savvy enough to do a lot of digging into files. Any other suggestions? Thanks.

terp47@atlanticbb.net, you may have selected the uniform element already in use, therefore it won't change. Sometimes auto load works, sometimes it doesn't. Uniforms can be installed globally in the data folder, jerseys, ballcaps, etc. All saves can use these files. Usually Z:\...OOTP Baseball 26\data. Uniforms can be installed for a save, that way other saves won't use these files. The path is usually Z:...\OOTP Baseball 26\data\saved_games\Test.lg. Look for the appropriate folders.
