D317 Season 5

Anyone in diamond 317? I'm in first place after day 1, probably my last day there!

I'm also in this league, in the other conference. For me it looks like a mix of some teams from my diamond league from last year, some that I was in a league two years ago with, and some other new teams.

Thank you! Looks like Markus just answered, so looks like we need to reach the World Series for promotion. I've had no postseason luck at all, so I'll have my work cut out trying to reach perfect!

The Boyoyon Boyos look like the team to beat and of course they're in my division. He only has 1 perfect, but his pitching is really incredible. I have to work on upgrading my starting pitchers, but it's so damn expensive. Ugh.

Two years ago I was in the same division as Boyoyon and I had a nice cushion, he added Prior and it went down to the last day of the season where I narrowly avoided a collapse. He's upgraded since too, so they'll be a tough team to beat!

I swept them at their park to open the season! Woot!

Nice! I'm a Yankees fan, so I'm already 3 over my quota for Red Sox, but Gedman does seem to hit decent plus have strong defense. I picked up Munson last year and he produced well, but it's hard to find a catcher who will hit, and be strong defensively for a decent price.

I'm off to a rough-ish start. I think Sean Doolittle has already equaled last year's blown saves, and I lost a game where both Ozzie Smith and Francisco Lindor made an error. I guess everyone is working off their winter rust.

Finally scratched my way back to .500. Just found a good day on Brian Downing, so I'll pair him with Thurman Munson behind the plate.

3-0 may have been the highlight of my season. I'm now 11-12, but luckily only 2.5 games out of first. Really tight division considering I'm in last place.

Looks like tight races all the way around as we wrap up April. Definitely a different feel than last year.

Looks like we have a doubleheader scheduled for next month. I could have missed it, but don't recall seeing those on the schedule before.

Yeah, pretty cool. Although it's late and tomorrow's back to work, so maybe past my bedtime.

Hopefully we've righted the ship. I started real rough, but ended the month on a five-game winning streak and am over .500 (14-12). Hopefully perfect isn't treating you too badly!

I have a 3 game lead after April. That’s the good news, The bad news is I am in the same Division As Knive and FireAnty.

That's good, and holy cow. That's just cruel right there. Tough teams, but at least the playoffs showed you can beat them. Really wish we could follow along other leagues, because that's going to be quite the battle. Good luck!
