Game builds a profile of your manager/GM moves.
What I mean by this is, let's say you manage games manually. Over those games, the game will track your lineups, staff, and decisions and over time, form a profile of your tendencies and moves. The more games you manage, the more accurate the profile will become.
Same thing with GM's... it will look at your trades, signings, and drafts and form a profile of the types of players you'll go for. This will do 4 things: 1. Give managers an accurate idea of how they play compared to the AI. I might think I pitch around a lot, but it might turn out I hardly ever do compared to most. 2. You can create AI managers and GM's who play the same way you do. It might provide some real competition. At the very least, it will create more demand for the types of players you usually go for. 3. Those profiles can be uploaded somewhere like the steam workshop, and at that point you could fill your solo league with AI managers and GMs based on human players. 4. Collectively, it would give OOTP Developments a huge amount of data which they could use to fine-tune their AI. These profiles will expose tendencies of the AI which are impractical and would never be done by a human player. These could be trimmed out and more useful tendencies could be fine tuned. All this could be turned off, or the results not sent anywhere if there are privacy concerns ofc. |

I really really like this idea.
I'd like to add on the ability to choose your personality style when playing as a manager, maybe even some loose scales to help AI teams in trading with you (i.e. the ability to set a preference for OBP/AVG, Power/Speed, Hitting/Pitching, etc.) |
