Random lineup changes
I've noticed while looking at the box scores of my teams that the lineups in the game are vastly different from the lineups that I have set as my designated lineups. Anyone know why this could be happening? Is it just a pure fatigue thing and then the AI starts arranging the lineup to work with rested players since I haven't done a great job setting up a rest plan for my team.
Just now I had a game where Kurt Suzuki played third because Alex Bregman was moved to SS and then my batting order was completely rearranged. I've even noticed that sometimes Burleigh Grimes (old time pitcher) would DH for me sometimes. Luckily the guy some how had one of those pretty .300/.400/.500 lines we all dream about. |

Yeah, the AI will rearrange your lineup if it has to sub for fatigued players and sometimes it can end up drastically different, especially if there is more than 1 player that is fatigued.
But just to be sure, make sure this is only happening when you have a fatigued player, otherwise it might be a bug.
