Playing Player's out of Position Question

So, attached you see my lineup I acquired some awesome player's and want to get them all in the lineup, however I noticed the stats get quite skewed when I play out of position. Will these increase or am I trading offense for defensive efficiency?

Look at your players infield and outfield defensive ratings. If they are good and not wrong handed such as a southpaw at shortstop, they will learn the position but it takes time.

Well i did that is the thing for instance Mantle is an outfielder and has poor infield ratings that is what i am asking will it get better or will he just suck?

He will suck in the infield with poor infield ratings.

I put Rod at 2B and put mantle at first per your suggestion that works better:P
