Hey Zorro! My Breakers are in Omikron Beta with you. There's a lot of payback setting up in the NC side. Last season my team beat Snaefell in the first round only to lose the pennant in game 7 to Waterloo. Detroit then ultimately prevailed over them in the WS. Looking forward to some rematches this go around. :-) Carolina and Sherwood from your AC side were also in the post season from our league last year that may rejoin the play-offs soon. Are any of your play-off teams from your last league in this one?

Glad to see you are here. Yes Las Cruces And Gander were wild card teams in my league last year. All 3 of us went to the playoffs in my Division and we are back in the same Division again. Lol. You are the team to beat in our league my friend. Detroit and I have rings from last year but you have a great team and you are playing very well. In fact you have guided them by far playing the best ball in our League.

I am playing sloppy baseball of late. My lead has dwindled down to 6 games and we are slumping badly. I hope this is my bad spell and we re group for the Playoffs, Otherwise I could be headed for a quick exit. Anyhow you look good my friend. Good job.....

Thanks. I've been fortunate with the pack pulling and auctioneering to build a fairly stacked lineup. You've done a great job managing your team and shifting around your rosters. Probably not many managers that are as detailed with their teams as you. We have different strategies, but you've got the ring ;-)
Several teams heating up as we get near that last day of regular season games. It will be interesting to see who adds what final pieces for the play-off push. I see the Bay Sox just added a diamond Trevor Bauer (96) to bolster the rotation... Best of luck on your final regular season games also! |

I'm the Snaefell team - you've both done a really great job!
Medici, congrats to running away with the division again, this year it would be a great honor to even get to the DCS to meet you once again. |

Hi Strakapoud, So Happy we have another from our league. You have done a great job with your team also. Looks like 2 years in a row in the playoffs. Gets no better then that my friend. I never like to look ahead, Especially since my team is playing its worst ball in 2 seasons. I built it around Pitchings and fielding with punch hitters with some speed. Last year we played flawlessly by pitching well with timely hits and very few errors. Now we are still pitching well but are not getting timely hits and we are making errors at terrible times. Like I said I hate looking ahead but it looks to me like The Breakers are going to be very hard to beat this season. Good luck the rest of the way.

Hi, Zorro, thank you for your kind words! I think I neglected the team a bit this season (half-consciously, not wanting to get too attached to the team that will be reset, but wanting to prepare and try some stuff), but I am that more suprised to be in the play-off run at all! It would be nice and about the limit of my abilities; however, I am still playing Medici today six more times, expecting a 1-5 at best, so I am by no means in yet! A crucial series against Waterloo is right before me (in next two hours!). Best of luck to you as well, you two are really fun to watch. |

Sorry guys but I have to vent a little. I knew I would not be able to get legend players so I decided to make my team a good fielding ,Good pitching and a platoon system in the highest order. I watch almost all my games to get to see how they perform and the flow they are in. Well now it is very frustrating because we are killing ourself with errors. I mean Keith Hernandez has 17 errors this season with a month left. He had 2 last year. We are giving away games by making dumb mistakes and we are not that good to be able to do this. I am at witts end. Last year we played solid ball and won it all. I know the playoffs are anyone’s to win as last years proved by the Breakers losing and My team winning it all. But the season is different. We play good and bad teams. So when we throw away a game by making 2 errors in the 9th inning to lose with a team you built for fielding and pitching you want to kick something and I can’t afford to hurt my foot. Anyhow, Sorry guys, But when you watch the games and your players give them away or do not hit at all in a 1-0 game you lost by making a error well.....lol..... Do you guys watch your game or are you lucky enough to just make a lineup and go to the movies.

Hey Strakapound! Congrats on another play-off bound season! You've put together a solid team again and it will be fun to watch the finish between Detroit and San Diego as your first play-off opponent.

I try to watch the play-off games on Sunday as best I can, but I usually just review box scores, tweak lineups, and try to flip a card or two at the auction house. |

Wow, Cool. I was raised in Pasadena .😁 Ok, Now I am doing something I never do but I have to. I am going to my Mother-in-Laws house to celebrate my sister-In-Laws Birthday. It is going to be a long party so I have to keep my lineups the same and prey for rain. Good luck to you both and I will
Be watching you both in the playoffs. I only prey I can keep home field advantage or I will be out first thing. I have my field tailored to my team. I just want to say good luck to you and Snaefell , Also Snaefell If you were in my league you would have the best record in the league so wonderful job you have done. Unfortantly for you the Breakers are the Bomb of both leagues. One thing good about the playoffs, Once in anyone can win. Good luck all and see you late tonight or tomorrow.😁 Last edited by Zorro; 11-17-2018 at 12:28 PM. |

Thank you! Now I'm more confident and can look forward to the Wild Card Game; but it is hard to choose whether to prefer Detroit or San Diego Anyway, now on to the series against you
