Babe Ruth etc....

Do players like Babe Ruth (pitchers with great hitting ratings) automatically getting a fielding rating so they can be used as a hitter/fielder.

I have Babe Ruth and he is 19/20 years old. He has great hitting ratings (obviously)…….when I change him to RF, he ends up as a pinch hitter as he has no fielding ratings

Any help would be great.

Do you have 2 way players turned on? Do you play 1 year recalc or developmental? I am not sure but I think the Babe will initially be a pitcher but will switch over to a fielder as in real life (with 1 year recalc. I am not sure how the Babe is handled with 2 way player selected. Also, did you select fielding ratings based on current year, 3 years, or career?
