Is there controversy built in?

After last night's Red Sox-Astros Altuve home run controversy, I was wondering if there's anything like this built into the OOTP engine? Can we have controversies like in real life??

You should see all the threads of people thinking the game it out to get them. Feels like there's plenty of controversies according to those people...

Yeah, Matt...I know what you're saying. But I wondered if you guys slipped in some actual controversy like fan interference.

It's certainly a viable but necessarily rare play result.

i think of this as i do with rainouts. i'd rather not see it in a video game to some extent.

in this case i think it's part of the overall average already..

e.g. of the 'counted' hr, it is given that a small percentage of those are balls that bounced off peoples heads or gloves, lol.

oddities are already counted. that small percentage can be guesstimated from RL stuff and applied to pbp text.

e.g. any hr that is within x feet of dimensions of park will kick in some miniscule chance it's that type of HR. any number of wrinkles like that due to context and variables already in game could be added to pbp, eventually.

when you can link human error to causing different strategies or similar it'sgreat to ahve in the game too. madden would have bad calls to make challenges relevant.
