Bicycle - Now there's something you don't see every day

Wow. Two cycles in the the same game! Eppa Sachs of Chicago got the double he needed in the 10th and Ed Browne of St. Louis got the home run he needed in the 11th.

I guess extra innings helped, but still - pretty cool!

if you want to figure out % chance of it occuring based on RL. (if ~default would be fairly accurate). just multiple by each value from table based on # of PA. i can't see if they walked.

says for average lineupe / average player i guess -- .0044% then square it for .00001936% or maybe 2 out of 100,000 games. higher probability for better players and better lineups, of course.

As this happens, brock holt hits for the first playoff cycle IRL. This is impressive, didnt two MiLB teammates do it this year? I've always wondered if itll ever happen at th ebig league level.

given enough time, all possibilities will be exhausted.

i.e. with enough people it's feasible for two identical people to be born to two different sets of parents.... how many billion? trillion? doesn't matter, it's true either way. finitie number of combinations, therefore inevitably going to happen if given enough people alive at once. (may be 1 and 99 at time too)
