Tactics - player roles (even strength vs special teams)

So as I'm coming to grips with the new tactics system (which I think is really great so far). Am I to understand that players have one role and for both even-strength and special teams? Is there no way to change a player's role for the powerplay only?

Waiting for an answer to this before even trying to continue with the game. It's great to have Hagelin hanging around the blueline, waiting for a quick break and not caring about defending at all when it's 5v5. Not sure if that's a good thing when he's on penalty kill...
