Restore deleted retired players
Hi all,
I am playing the September 1st update. Thank you for this. As I was playing I made a decision to delete all the retired players thinking it would make for a smaller game save. My question is this. Is there a way to restore the deleted retirees or maybe import them from another save? I would like to have the option to vote for the hall of fame but without retired players I don’t think it’s possible. I do not want to restart my game because I have already put the draftees on their respective teams. That was a very tedious task. Thanks in advance |

Are you talking about the “delete retired minor leaguers” setting? This deletes only players who have retired without making an MLB appearance. If that’s the case, it had no effect on what you are looking to do regarding the Hall of Fame.

Any chance you post a copy of your league?

One thing you can try that may or may not work is to copy over the retired.dat from a fresh copy. This may not work, but it's probably worth a shot to try.

Thanks for the responses.
I was able to fix it by importing a template and deleting all the players and teams from that template. The retired players remained. Back in business now. Thanks again |
