Generic Splits in 2018 ML QuickStart?

I certainly appreciate the option to use real-life splits for historical seasons. Generally, however, I would prefer a stronger regression to mean splits (a la “The Book”, by Tango, et al.), in accordance with the findings that reverse batter splits are virtually non-existent over larger plate appearance samples. Unlike with Historical Game creation, I have not found an option to choose between historic and generic splits for the current season. Is it possible to use generic splits for the 2018 MLB Quickstarts, or are the included splits the only option for the current season? My appreciation in advance for any thoughts or suggestions.
