Top of game screen widget not turning off

I inadvertently uninstalled the game (I thought I was uninstalling the Steam version). I download and installed the latest 78 version then the 79 hot fix. Now the top of screen widgets in game no longer disappear when the play starts. Only the team and pitcher/batter widgets disappear. No matter how I set them in View, the top of screen ones stay on.

This was working properly before I reinstalled the game.

Okay, I found what was causing it. I had the PbP speed set to Instant. Once I changed it to something else, the top widget disappeared during game play. Odd, me thinks.
