OOTP5 freeze/crash

Hi, I just ran into an issue in OOTP5 where the game keeps hanging at the sim screen. I'm several years into a manager career, starting in 2003. I've had no problems whatsoever until tonight, in mid-June, the game just froze at the simming games screen. I tried restarting the program & manually playing the game, but as soon as I hit continue at the matchup screen, it would crash to desktop. Also, I tried an exhibition game with my team (Cleveland) & it allowed me to go in & play that manually, and it let me go into & watch a computer controlled game on the actual schedule. I think there is just something wrong with my opponent for the game (Los Angeles). I updated my drivers & directx but none of that seems to work, and I checked for corrupted players and contracts since I saw mention of that on other bug posts but no luck so far. Any ideas? I really would hate to lose my season, my first son was just born

I'm running:

Windows XP Home edition 2002
512 meg RAM
Pentium 4 1.9 gig processor
around 15 gigs free on hd
nvidia geforce 3 ti200 graphic card

Try going into league setup and run the "computer manager" for all teams.

I tried the computer manager deal & that appears to have fixed it, I'll let you know if I run into the problem again.. Thanks for your help!
