Toronto Signs Craignum to General Manager Position

The local media welcomed Craignum as the new manager of the Toronto Blue Jays today.

The 30-year-old native of Canada was questioned for several minutes by reporters about his goals and hopes for the club.

Some local media are praising the signing as a good one, while others feel Craignum is in over his head.

Feeling the heat to settle on a new GM, Blue Jays owner Edward S. Rogers III responded to reporters.

"We've taken our time in finding what we hope is an excellent, far-seeing general manager. I don't think you'll have to worry about Craignum suffering from myopia. He presented a clear, concise, and realistic assessment of our club in every interview we held, and just seemed to grasp what we're looking for," noted an official close to negotiations.
