Star Pitcher Just Destroyed by Injury

I had a former 2nd round draft pick who turned into a monster in my fictional 30 team league. 28 years old, coming off 5 straight Pitcher of the Year awards. 10.5 WAR season at 25.

Then the injuries hit. Tore his UCL. Out 14 months. 24 solid starts later - the same injury but this time for 17 months.

On the verge of a comeback from his second torn UCL - he suffers a setback, forcing another surgery and another 15 months out of service.

Against the odds he comes back, giving the team 30 starts before blowing his UCL for a third time...ending his career.

I debated turning down the injury setting prior to starting my league, but I'm glad I didn't. I am really enjoying the injury system, even at the detriment of my own players. You never know.

Love it. That's what it's all about. Kudos to him for coming back for that last quality season lol
