Tournament DH rule

I set up a tournament and have enabled the designated hitter rule. Most games use the DH, others do not. I can't think of why it would be in effect only partially.

Are you setting up Team Tournaments or is it a WBC/Olympic style tournament?

It's using teams from all four of my major leagues. The leagues are associated and all are set to use the DH.

Just rechecked and confirmed that every league, sub-league and minor league in my world has DH enabled. The only pitchers to ever hit in my ootp universe are the occasional two way players...until this tournament.

Yes, double checking it appears that sometimes we were getting mixed up in checking DH values, sometimes checking sub-leagues that don't exist. We'll clear that up for the next patch.

Thanks Matt. Do you happen to know around when that would be? Trying to decide if I should move on or delete the tournament or just wait. Also, would the fix require my re-starting the tournament?

It should fix things for anything in progress (well, not games that have already started, but the fix is in the setup for each individual game so no need to restart a tournament).

No ETA on the patch yet. It could be as soon as the end of next week, although more likely the following week.

FYI...not a big deal, but a few odd things happened when my tournament went into the offseason. I got a message from my owner saying he was disappointed that I did not make the playoffs. I don't know if he was referring to the upcoming season of my regular league or the just completed tournament (which I won).

Also, all other teams that had participated in the tournament suddenly released several minor league players. They were all scrubs basically, but it just looked strange that they all seemed to act in unison. The only event which occurred on this day was the start of the offseason for the tournament.

Anyway, just maybe something to look at.

Thanks. Yes, it looks like there were a couple cases we may have been handling some end of season maintenance where we shouldn't have. We'll clean those up too
