Patches

I DLed OOTP19 on steam two weeks ago.

Just wondering are the patches included, or do I need to DL them separately?...

As always, sorry if this has been answered.

IIRC, Steam copies are up-to-date when you install them. Patches are pushed automatically via Steam.

Steam automagically updates games so long as you haven't changed the default update settings in the game's properties.

IIRC, though, patches take longer to get to steam than they do if you just have a local copy of the game. So if you see a post about a patch being available, it may be a little while before it gets to Steam. Not sure whether that is a few days or weeks, though.

Steam is pretty quick. Usually available at the same time as our site, sometimes even faster!

Some of the other retailers it can be slower. Apple and Origin could take up to a day or two to get approved on their sites.

I've gotten the last two versions on Steam and patch delivery is usually within minutes of being posted here.
