Historical Tournament

Hey all,

I love the idea of the Historical Tournament but I noticed a severe limitation. I hate to write about the competition but Action PC Baseball allows me to manage any team in a tournament and even switch and that is a strong suit for me. Is there any way that we can manage whatever team we want? It's fun to manage different teams and if the team I am managing gets knocked out, well, what next?

Would it be difficult to implement allowing to manage the team we want and be able to switch at will? What I like to do is manage the lower seed per match up.

PLEASE say yes?

You can manage whichever teams you want in the tournament. By default you're in control of every team and can do as much or as little for each as you want.

Thank you Matt. One more question: When I play a game, the other games "auto-sim." How can I change that please?

Is there anybody that has found a way to prevent other games from playing while you're managing a game at the same time? Matt told me that we can manage any team we like and I presume that means we can switch teams when we want. As I had stated to Matt I hate writing about the competition but Action PC Baseball allows you to manage any tournament team and the other games do not auto play. THAT is what I am looking for.

OOTP has long been my favorite baseball sim, and I hope that this teams auto playing phenomenon has a solution.

When you play out a game, in the options list at the bottom, there's an option for "Simulate games in background". If you set that to "No (disabled BNN)", then we don't sim other games and you can play multiple games the same day.

That option is grayed out. Is that choice supposed to be selected when creating the tournament? Sorry to be a pest.

It's only available before you start a game. So when you click "Play Game", and see the team lineups, you need to turn it off before actually starting the game to be able to change it.
