'Nother Ratings Decline Question

In my on-line league I have a 31 year old reliever who started the season as a 4-star with a 6 in Runs (6-6-8-5-6 overall). Despite only one ratings deline entry each in hits/homers/walks, at the All-Star break he's now a 2 in runs (2-4-7-4-6 overall) and he's a 1-star. That's an awful rapid decline, isn't it? And why isn't there more than one mention of a decline? Anyone else experience this or am I just snakebit?

"Talent" changes are mentioned "Ratings" changes are not. It's just one of those things with this player, I've had some crash like this and others flourish much later in their careers....................kinda like happens IRL. Ya never know.

Thanks for your quick response. The problem is the first talent decline reduced him from a 4 star to a 2 star. But there's no talent decline in the PD report to account for his 2 star to 1 star. Is that normal?

Mark- the second is probably a ratings decline- he's gotten old fast. Their are issues with the OOTP engine (like the fact that talent evaluations generally change before rating evaluations), but that's probably what happened.
