Advice on Challenge Mode finances.

After just 3 seasons, my league has 18 of 24 teams seriously losing money...including my own. My fan base seems unwilling to warm to the team despite great success. It's (get violins out) aggravating the *** out of me, because I cannot fathom how a league could sustain itself with that many teams losing money...even the good teams are in the red.

My question: How in the heck do I get the entire league to grow revenues?

I'm not whining—I understand it's supposed to be challenging—but I am flummoxed. Any suggestions on how a league as whole eliminates debt, or do I just scrap it and start over?

Is it fictional or historical? What era? Did you use the default financial settings? Did the league start like this or did it change after the first couple of seasons?

Real league, early 80s

Reserve era rules, no lux tax, no cash cap, no revenue sharing & fixed media.

My advice to fix it is to give every team more revenue. The easiest way to do that is to increase the national media contract. Also, be sure that the stadiums have the proper capacity and the average ticket revenue is high enough for the era.
