Not any kind of Fastball ?

Playing historical I often find pitchers that has no type of fastball at all. No regular FB, Cutter or Sinker. Beside the knuckleball pitcher shouldn't these players at least have a so-so type of fastball ?

I know in old versions lots more pitchers was found with IMHO strange rep on pitches. I can understand if nothing is noted in the DB when the player is imported, but then shouldn't the AI at leas create the pitcher with a normal FB ?

What do you all thnik about this ? And how to remedy it ?

I normally start my plays in 1970 and onwards, so I think starting much much earlier this might pop up even more.
