OOTP 19, ground rule doubles, Wrigley Field and the ivy?

Playing as the Cubs and I've had two ground rule doubles at Wrigley where the ball seems to have disappeared into the ivy, both in CF (though can't say it's the exact same location). In real life of course that is the correct ruling. It would be very cool if the coding was detailed enough that this "Wrigley rule" was part of OOTP.

But I'm wondering if it's simply a bug where the ball goes through a wall it shouldn't? If that's the case I do have the text output from replay and can post in the 3d bugs thread.

So is it by design or a bug?
