Another Manager Mode Question

After my two miracle wins with the Padres last night, I thought I had better ask this question.

I have manager mode turned on, on the "very-easy" setting. I did this because I wanted to stay with the Padres as long as possible, even if the team didn't do so hot.

However, now I'm wondering, does the easier manager mode level also give your team a "boost" so that it is easier to win games?

There have been a bunch of posts like this. The general consensus seems to be that the manager mode difficulty only affects how easily you're fired.

Doesn't it also affect how likely your girl will put out?

In easy mode, well, you know.
