Strange usage of closer

Through 16 games with the Twins as GM, I've watched Molitor bring in Fernando Rodney repeatedly in non save situations in the 9th, even down 7-1 before. Another time he drug him out there in the 8th for a 2 innings save that he blew. Am I missing a strategy settings g someplace?

check molitor's slider for closer (traditional vs whatever label). if not visible you'll need comissioner mode on and go into editor to see. right side all the way down... maybe last or second to last slider?

is he controlling? changing your dpeth chart after you sim a day? has rodney not played in 3 days or more? all could be a cause.
