manage several teams on a given day

I have a league 3 days away from opening day.
One full day of spring training games remaining.
So, I have one more day to try a few things.

I would like to manage (in play by play mode) at least one of the two teams for all of the opening day games. I.E.: play each game one by one until all games are finished. I have tried playing some of the springs days with a different Human manager assigned to each team, tried in Commissionor Mode but....as soon as a play a game in manager mode, the rest of the games auto-play.

I've been able to play the games one by one choosing Auto-Play (for a specific game) while in the Scores Screen.

Ideas?
Several managers?
Settings? Something wrong there?

I messed around with game enough and have experimented with setting up other leagues just for fun and to get the hang of it - - but I only get one chance at opening day.

When you start a game and are in the pregame screen where it shows the lineups, scroll down to the bottom of the "General Game Options".

The very bottom choice "Simulate World in Background" - set it to "No", and no other games will be played. You can play that game, then play another, just remember that setting.

I have been "saving" and "backing up" constantly.

How can I make a duplicate my league/game from where I am right now.
I'd like to play the same exact season/game once managing a team or two and again with AI managing all teams.
Can I get it to the point where both games become an option when I first launch OOTP19?

I'd like to play the same exact season/game once managing a team or two and again with AI managing all teams.
Can I get it to the point where both games become an option when I first launch OOTP19?

Make a copy of your ".Lg" folder under a different name. Place it in the saved games folder and it will be available to select for loading from the start screen.

when you restore a backup, you can re-name it too.. same thing.. same amont of time invovled to copy files. if you don't want to mess with searchign directories etc.

just make sure to do a backup right before you restore it.
