Neutralized stats
I realize neutralize stats haven’t been included for real life players in recent seasons but will they work for historical players as they are intended. Example, will Ty Cobb enter league in 1904 as an OF instead of a 1B?
Maybe it was just me but I think others had the same issue with 18. Thank You |

These files are complete thru 2017 but there is an OF bug. This bug was not reported until after the final OOTP18 update and so will not be fixed until OOTP19 at the earliest.

Thank you for the response. Will there be an easy way to tell if the bug has been fixed in OOTP 19? Thanks for all you do.

Let me add my thanks to you, Spritze, for the things that you do make this simulation all that it is, it brings me countless hours of enjoyment and learning about baseball’s fascinating past. I thought I knew baseball only to find I have barely scratched the surface after purchasing OOTP four years ago. My thanks also should go to everyone involved in this marvellous game.

Is this "bug" fixed in 19 ?
Everything is correct playing historical OOTP 19 with Neutralized stats ? How big do these "special" stats really alter the game ? Basically I understand a big HR hitter playing for Colorado might get fewer HR playing somewhere else, but is it only basic "total" on the field they played. Any changes like for A's home games with huge foul area plays a differ too ? Then so much talk about Spritzes Db and "regular" DB. Set me straight, since I eblieve the downloadable Spritze DB is several years old. My concern is only if it works in the DB that comes with the game. |
