I want my opening day OOTP team roster to mirror its real opening day MLB team roster.

I'm playing as the Brewers. As an example, Yovani Gallardo did not make the Brewers team.(He was on a one-year non-guaranteed contract. The Brewers owe him $500,000 for not roistering him).

I have not started any games yet.

Is there a way I can update the OOTP so it starts the season with the same 40-man roster as real life?

Yeah, download the latest update and then start a new game

Hey, updating to the latest version did indeed update the rosters. Thanks.

It will update the rosters, but the game will never have the same 40-man roster as in real life, since the ai runs on teams when the game is being set up and it will always make its own choices.

We try to get as close as possible with the 25 man rosters though, and the next patch coming out will have even more accurate and up to date OD rosters.

Move date to that date with Standings so far for season maybe?

why even play the game, in that case? whatever floats your boat i guess. it's a simulation.. let it simulate
