BA/OPS disappearance

I've had a few game crashes lately (more than I had for the first 7 or 8 simmed seasons) and after the last one, I reopened OOTP5 and it was either right after simming again, or shortly thereafter, the league BA and OPS leaderboards dissappeared. The titles were there, however no players were listed. After simming a few days of games, a few players began to appear on the lists. However, these players were not the actual leaders. A check of the league leaders showed only 5 players in the Batting Average leaders. I have simmed a few more games, and a few more players have shown up in the league leaders, however not all of them are correct (it seems that the Pirates, a comp controlled team, have "recovered" and their players are listed.) Also, many of the teams in the leagues are missing players on their team leaderboard sections. No Batting average, OPS or ERA for many of the teams. It seems odd that this information would drop all of a sudden, and I do not want to continue for fear of messing up the almanac since I have played 14+ seasons. I ran virus scan to make sure nothing buggy had been festering on my machine and my machine came up clean.

Here are my specs
Athlon AMD 1.1Ghz
256MB Memory
Windows XP
Direct X 9.0

Forgot to also let you know that I am not running anything concurrently while running the game lately, have had explorer open from time to time, but nothing that suggests a pattern of any sort. Latest crashes and this bug have flared up without anything else running.

I've had this same problem. The game crashed while simming a season. When I opened the game again the team standings were correct but there were no players under the BA and OPS headings. When I went to my team page all the players stats were reset although the team standings and rankings were where they should have been. This has happened approximately four or five times.

I do not know what is causing the crash but the only thing that I know that you can do with the season is to go to "league setup" and try resetting the season.

This problem must be something small and strange since I simmed the season from the crash, and players began to reappear correctly until the season crashed again. The leaderboards again went strange, but after a month or so of simming they "healed" themselves. I wonder if the crash somehow limits the games ability to recognize a team, since the leaderboards woul typically fill with players from one team, then another, etc. until the leaderboards were correct again. I was able to finish the season and as far as I can tell everything seemd correct. I don't think it is a huge bug, however it is a bit annoying. If there is any information you need regarding the crash itself, I am sure that it will crash again (nothing against the program at all, just been having more crashes recently with it --- not a one time resource crash or something like that.) BTW, the crashes only seem to occur early in the year as I cannot recollect a crash occuring after July, I will try and keep track of the dates to see if that might lead to something.
