Custom Stats?

Does OOTP have the ability to create custom stats?

I don't like the AB stat. I prefer PA. I don't want AVG, OBP, SLG, etc to use the AB number as a variable, substituting the PA number. In my Happy Place, I'll call those stats pAVE, pOBP, etc. Or does such a stat already exist in the game? That would be in my Happy Place, too...

I don't think so but I would love it if we were able to block certain stats from showing at all in historical leagues and from them being considered by the AI.
