In the show, I have a 97 overall team, no money spent. In nhl, I have a very solid team with no money spent. It's not hard in any game to build a solid team

I think the OOTP guys are smart enough to do this right and *not* have it be the parasite and train wreck that is EA Ultimate Team games. I have a real jones for the baseball card aspect - particularly since Topps left us all for dead a long time ago.

I don't have a problem with microtransactions as long as they are done in careful moderation and don't ruin the balance of the game mode. I don't think Markus would want OOTP to join the much-criticized P2P (pay to play) genre of games. I'm hopeful OOTP will do it right ... and in fact if they do it right it will earn them lots of praise in the greater gaming community. I see a lot of upside.
