What goes into running an online league?

i was wondering what went into running an online league. I heard it was a bunch of file transfers etc. is that the same for 19?

Nothing in 19 changes how on-line leagues are run. It is the same as 18. You need a server to host a league (many options here). Then as the commish you set up the connections to the server. From that point the game handles most of the server interactions and imports/exports of the team file.

You will need to provide a copy of the league to those who join and you will enter them in the league file.

Then you need a lot of patience and commitment to run the sims when you say you will run them.
