Fictional Ballparks
I've made a set of imaginary ballparks for use in an oldtime fictional league of mine. If anyone has any interest in them, I'd be happy to post more. Attached to this message is a sample.

Old Fort Field
The story goes that the city where this ballclub plays was going to convert it's old army garrison into a prison. The owner of the new baseball team convinced the city to sell him the land cheaply, however, to use for his stadium. The ballpark retains the old fort wall as part of the outfield structure.
Capacity: 26,300 Left Field Line: 311 ft. Left Field: 344 ft. Left Center Field: 390 ft. Center Field: 432 ft. Right Center Field: 386 ft. Right Field: 339 ft. Right Field Line: 319 ft. Pull hitters will love this park whereas straight away hitters will find the deep alleys and distant center field daunting. Expect a significant increase in homers and a negligible increase in batting average at Old Fort Field. |

Incredible! Thanks for the pix and the storyline and dimensions. That really adds to the enjoyment. Quick question, how much did the stadium cost to build?
I might offer to one of my owners in the MBL.

Ballpark Info
Thanks for the support regarding the stadium images. I plan to submit a zipped file containing the fictional stadiums, OOTP park files and logos from my old-time league to Baseball Sim Central and one of the OOTP sites.
Attached are a couple of my team's logos - the St. Clair Sterlings and the Dupont Hornets: |
