Game crash

Hi. Whenever I open my game it says the following, and I quote.
"Program Error. OOTP has generated errors and will be closed by Windows, You will need to restart the program. An error log is being created."
This sucks.
I don't know anything about my computer so sorry. I have plenty of space on my hard disk though.

Well, in order to be able to help you effectively we are going to need to know about your computer. First of all have you just tried rebooting the computer?

After that you need to find the following:

-What OS?
-How much RAM?
-How much free HD space?
-What else is running?
-What happened that caused the game to stop running?

Really need a little more information to diagnose your problem. You said you don't know anything about your computer. I would say you are running windows XP by the error description. Are you running any firewalls or virus programs? You will know that if you look on the bottom far right of your screen and see if you have anything else there. If you do then try shutting them off and try running the game again. If you are still having problems then I would suggest uninstalling and reinstalling the game. Not knowing anything about your computer sounds like you don't know much about computers which makes if very tough to diagnose your problem or tell you how to correct it.
If you could give us a little more information on your computer specs and what programs are running in the background it will help us to help you a little more than trying to speculate with no information to go on.
Sorry couldn't be of more help but give us more info and I am sure someone will come up with a solution for you.

It's Windows 00 Professional, only other program running that I know of is Kazaa sometimes but I don't have any virus programs. I tried to sim the entire postseason and it froze so I Ctrl Alt Deleted it to get out of it and finally I got that work and I just tried to open it one day and the rror message came up. Any speculation is appreciated.. Ryan

Close Kazaa down and try again "after" a fresh reboot and no Kazaa.
