Lineups

So i like to play GM only and watch the games play out. My question is will the lineups and depth charts update throughout the year based on performance injuries etc? Or do i have to click update lineups in the options menu for any changes to take effect.

If you play GM-only, then the AI Manager will adjust lineups and pitching staffs. You can use the update lineups to get an "immediate" view of the changes that will happen after a callup or injury, but they'll be done automatically.
