Spritze most recent database

I have seen many talking of the Spritze database that contains many more players than the default one that is with OOTP.
I am probably looking right at it, but I cannot seem to find it. Does someone have the link or location that it is located at?
Any help would be aprreciated

I have been using Spritze's database version 18 to manually import Negro League players into a random historical league. I also use it to manually import some Minor League players who had successful careers. Everything seems to work out fine. I use neutralized stats and I import them using the neutralized stats selection. I use the import year of their professional baseball debut.

Now I have tried to import some MLB players so their careers would start when they were 18, instead of say 38.

I found Spritze's DB has different totals then the OOTP 18 DB. I used Eddie Mathews, Barry Bonds and Lou Gehrig as examples:

Now, I'm not sure which DB to use for importing. I guess the differences aren't that much, so maybe I'm splitting hairs!

yeah i don't see much of a different that can't be explined by simply a new iteration of that same time period and difference in stuff like injuries etc.

you need the same mix of players each time too.. competition will matter. changin their ages can affect results too.. longer careers ..maybe shorter w/e the case.

the difference in neutralized average for matthews is the only suspect one.

at the least it is consistently a bit lower for average... you could bump hits LTM and reduce power numbers appropriately as to not influate other numbers while increasing BA.... e.g. if it adds 1,000 hits to league-wide stats, then calculate based on current League Totals ratio (NOT modifieres for this calculation) for singles/doubles/triples/hr and figure that many of each will occur out of those "extra" 1000hits.. then reduce those related LTM for doubles/triples/hr to scale to new results due to increased BA (singles/hits ltm already ajdusted from before - just 2b/3b/hr after that).

playing with LTM should be able to adjust anythign you don't like about either method or either DB... i'd look at different distrubution of resutls and choose that way, i guess...

e.g. max single season hr during that time tested. maybe you like what happened in spritze ofer ootp etc.. or maybe it's not jsut about max but leaguewide what you see.. although look slike it should be similar regardless.

I asked in the Spritze DB thread in the Mods section, but I'll ask again here. Spritze uploaded the Master.csv file to dropbox about five months ago. That one appears to have disappeared. Anyone know where I can get a copy? Anyone have a dropbox account that can upload it to said account for their tardy and soon to be best friend?

The master.csv contains some OOTP propriatry information now. I will be making three Masters for the 3 databases that will only contain player names, ID's, debut dates, career end dates. These will appear a few days after the game comes out.

we're really waiting for that supermodel database. It was going to be the core of my Alt. League in 19.

MLB, MiLB, and Spritze

Please read the preceding posts if you don't know what these are.

Reading is fundamental.

Excellent summation from another thread here:

Built in Neutered DB only has neutered stats for MLB players (NO MiLB, Negro, Japanese or Korean)

Reading these posts it appears you may be mixing them up at times.
I believe there are some Taiwanese (I've seen at least one) and Cubans in the Spritze DB. I haven't seen Dutch yet, but there may be some in there. Only the Spritze knows for sure.
