Various concepts from a North American league

I have a long-running three-tier North American promotion/relegation league and have a few teams I wanted to share if they’re helpful to anyone. Most of my league uses logos/jerseys/caps straight from this forum, but I’ve created a few myself over the past few years, either from scratch or by tweaking various concepts I've found, either real-life or fictional. Other folks here do way better work than I do but I wanted to at least contribute something to the forums in return!

Note that these are all the old pre-23 jersey format. Most were created with the online jersey and cap creators until I started to get more comfortable with Affinity Designer or Photoshop (with very kind help from folks on this board).

First up:

West Virginia Appalachians
Charleston, WV

Tweak of the real-life West Virginia United soccer club of USL League Two. I edited the logo (a little sloppy but it works) and created the jerseys and caps from scratch (cap logo comes from the middle of the main logo). Nicknamed the "Apps" for short.

New Hampshire Primaries
Manchester, NH

This was the original announced identity of the now New Hampshire Fisher Cats (the name they eventually switched to after rampant criticism of the Primaries concept). No uniforms or caps from that original concept were ever unveiled (at least that I can find), but in the past few Presidential election cycles the Fisher Cats have worn special caps and two-tone red and blue Fisher Cats jerseys. I decided to create my own set based on a concept that I love (and unique to New Hampshire due to them being the start of the Presidential election process).

Port-au-Prince Bicolores
Port-au-Prince, Haiti

This is an original concept, inspired by one of the nicknames of Haiti's national football team (Les Bicolores), via the nickname for the flag of Haiti. Logo is a tweak of this bumper sticker I found (not sure who created it). Uniforms are very much inspired by the 1990s Expos.

Kingston Red Stripes
Kingston, Jamaica

One of my dumber concepts but I love it. Similar to MLS's New York Red Bulls which are owned by Red Bull GmbH, the Red Stripes are owned by Heineken N.V. so the ballclub is a walking advertisement for the Red Stripe brand.

The K cap logo is borrowed from Low's Kent Comets concept.

Orlando Juicers
Orlando, FL

There are a few Orlando Juicers or Orlando Juice concepts floating around the forums, but I went looking for something I was more excited about before creating my own. I ended up finding a blogspot post from 2009 for a homemade concept I really liked. This is strictly a conversion of that concept into OOTP assets, I created nothing original here, other than a small sleeve tweak.

Omaha Owls
Omaha, NE

I've shared this in the past but figured I'd re-surface as part of this thread. This is based on the USL's Union Omaha soccer club whose logo and colors (volt!) I loved. I edited the logo to be baseball-centric and created the jerseys.

Santo Domingo Leones
Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic

The "Leones" name is taken from Santo Domingo's real-life Leones del Escogido. The jersey wordmark is from the Leones del Caracas in Venezuela.

Montana Timberjacks
Missoula, Montana

I've always been a fan of the old Missoula Timberjacks. There are a few retro sets on the forums already (especially txranger's) but I wanted to rebrand to "Montana" so made just a small tweak to the logo and also took a crack at the modern white version of the old Timberjacks jerseys that the real-life Paddleheads wear occasionally.

Nice work! I'm a huge fan of that Omaha FC logo, so simple and so great. Also really happy to see some Caribbean teams represented, those have been some of the hardest to find for me

Belize Bill Birds
Belize City, Belize

Belize’s national bird is the Keel-billed Toucan, which is known locally as the “bill bird”. Thanks to the Belize tourism board for the logos and color scheme!

Yes, another bird team…the logo and name came from a sportslogos.net forum concept for the Canadian Premier League when it was first announced.
