Releasing rule v player with ML contract
Had a question about the rule v draft. I know normally you can just release the player and they go right back to their original team however I accidentally picked a 29 year old making 6.2 million a year for two years. When I tried to release him the game wants me to pay for his release. Is the rule different if they have a ML contract or is it a glitch or another way to do it?
I wasn’t even aware there would be players with ML contracts available |

if you want, you can of course eliminate the problem with comissioner mode on... just release then go to team settings and zero out misc expense or whatever it's called.
it's your responsibility to look at finances of various options available. the contract info isn't hidden from view or anything ![]() you can even make contract info a column in the rule 5 draft list. it is a column in the defualt view - or one of them at least. if it's impossible for that situation to occur due to RL rules of rule 5, i'd definitely clean it up with comissioner mode on. otherwise, i'd suck it up and eat my mistake. just my 2cents. i don't know all the details of rule 5 eligible players. there used to be issues with rule 5? notice anythign odd? |
