Storylines enabled but haven't seen a single one

I am currently 108 games into my first season with storylines enabled and I have not seen a single storyline since I started this save. I play out every game, not sure if that would make any difference? Any one have any idea what's going on?

Make sure you're subscribed to them in manager settings, otherwise you won't see them.

I checked that any everything is checked except "Team game recaps" and I am subscribed to "news from organization and league".

Here are my standard setting for most of my leagues.
Did you uncheck storylines?
Regardless you should still get news for player of the week, player of the month & injuries.

Most storylines tend to be passive emails in the background. You may not even notice them in many cases.

We have also identified something which may interfere with interactive storylines. We'll look into that more for next year's version, though.

As an avid rpg gamer, these stories add a great rpg element into my favorite game series of my favorite sport. Just wish I could get them to work in this save!

Since it wasn’t in-game I would think storyline.
