Beard Frequency Randomly Changes

I’ve noticed this in both fictional and MLB leagues. I usually 0 out some of the beards that I don’t like when I create a league. After awhile I’ll see some of them show up on players so I’ll go look at my settings. What I find is that the frequency for all of the beards has changed to 73, even the ones I didn’t edit. Am I doing something wrong? I always hit enter after editing them. Every time this happens it always gets changed to 73.

Try changing it to 1. Maybe it can't be 0 for technical reasons.

What’s weird is all of them change to 73, not just the ones I had entered 0.

I would like to know as well. I have had the same problem. I get rid of all the old time 1800 or early 1900 looking ones, but they still eventually appear

That's what I do, too. Do yours all change to 73 also?

With this problem I also discovered that I can save my settings and import them into any league (or the same league for when it messes up). I'm sure it's been around awhile, but I just discovered the option to save and import the frequency settings.

Didn't really notice if it took all back to 73. I will see if it does and verify. Seems like it did though

For some reason in one of my leagues I’m still having this issue. I do have the latest patch installed.

I don't seem to have this issue although there are some players with terrible facial hair :P

I have a couple of recommendations which may the situation better even though they don't solve the issue itself.

Go to the facial hair folder and delete the offensive beard styles. The game cannot import and use a style that is not in the folder! Remember that each style has five color iterations; you need to delete all five colors. (See first screen print.)
Take advantage of the Import/Export beard frequency data modules. (See second and third screen prints.) When you get a beard array that you like, export the data file and save it someplace. When beard matters get hairy again, you can quickly import the settings that you prefer.

Yeah, I have a default file I have set up that I will load whenever it happens. I could delete the ones I don’t want, but I still will have the issue with them all changing to 73 and I don’t want the same for all of them.
