How do u save games in Historical Matches?

Sorry. Can't find answer in Help file and at another forum. I enjoy replaying World Series matches but I'm having a problem I didn't have before.

I can no longer save a game in progress.

Any help on this would be appreciated.

Ok...I guess I never was able to save a game in progress in the historical series games. I thought sure I could.

So I won't be playing them very much anymore since you have to play out the whole game and I don't like simming. Maybe it was the previous version of OOTP that allowed you to save a historical world series match up game in progress.

Not bothering me a bit.

My somewhat faulty memory is that I've never been able to save during a game I was playing out? Or maybe they changed that during one of the recent updates? I don't play out historical matches so my comment is mostly irrelevant anyway.

Mercy. I never have a problem saving a game in progress in OOTP as long as it's not in the historical brief matches.

Regular season play at the bottom of the screen during a game there should be in the middle roughly you should see after starting the game 'save & leave.'
