Strange ending

In back to back matchups, bouts between Bert Lytell (12) and Doug DeWitt (6) ended in disqualifications. Lytell was disqualified in seven in the first fight and in the return bout, DeWitt was disqualified in the ninth. It seems that even the game wanted a third fight. Lytell won the third fight UD-12 by the scores of (117-111 x 3).

Love it when weird stuff happens. I read something similar in a real fighter's record though I can't recall who it was.

I had a zero rating fighter with a (1) punching power rating knockout score a one-punch knockout of Sam Langford several years ago. After that upset, I simulated the fight 100 times and Langford one 99 and lost once via DQ.

I had these two guys fight once where one was supposed to be way better than the other guy but he got knocked out. When I ran a sim 100 times he never lost. Weird or what?

That's what's fun about this game (sports) most times you have a pretty good idea what will/should happen but every once in a while you have some shocking result that comes out of left field.

I had another one where Gerry Cooney broke his hand on Tommy Morrison's head with the first punch of the fight and lost via TKO.
