Steam key for FHM4?

Bought this directly from OOTP. I tried using the serial key for the game to add it to Steam but it tells me that that's an invalid key. How can I activate this on Steam?

You bought a non-Steam version, so you can´t turn it into a Steam version. You can add any game to your Steam library but they will only show up in Steam, it is still a non-Steam version that does not get Steam Achievements or the automatic updates.
