Historical 1917 salary
Hello,
I began playing a historical challenge mode in 1917 and was recruited by Seattle. Unfortunately, I cannot progress in my game because I don't have enough players on my team and I cannot offer any contract because I already exceed the salary budget allowed. When I take a look at the sheets, my players are paid ~$1000, but in the finance sheet it becomes much higher (in millions). Is that intended or am I missing something ? |

Ah, looks like there's some data missing from the historical financial adjustments file that's causing some of the numbers not to be converted from 1917-30. It sounds like you really are over the budget, but it'll look strange because the dollar amounts for budget and expenses are in 2017 dollars, but the salaries aren't. I've lowered the required roster size in the update, which should fix the budget issue, but in the meantime you could clear a little space by using commissioner mode to lower some of the salaries you're already playing, or just add some low-end roster filler players with $0 contracts.

Did this issue ever get technically fixed? I'm not quite sure how to move forward. I'm having the same issue of wanting to pay historical with Challenge Mode on. Thanks!

We fixed the file, but it appears that there's still a problem where some of the amounts displayed on the financial screen aren't being converted. Salaries will be shown at the correct levels for the year, but the financial screen will describe the budget in 2017 terms.
