Hitting Streaks

Don't know if this is a bug or not. On the league leader section on the main page, it says hitting streak. However, this isn't correct in my opinion. I am currently in the year 2007 and the hitting streaks on the leaderboard are from different years (2004, 2005, etc.). They are not from the current season. I think the hitting streak should be the longest current hitting streak, not the longest in history. Does anyone else notice this?

Yeah I had that problem too. It would list the all time record and not the current streaks going on. I also still see when you delete the rookie batting average record after season one, it doesn't keep track of some seasons rookie average new record holder.

I thought it showed the current highest streak?

it doesn't show it on mine. I am playing a game where I started a new fictional league under manager mode. don't know if that makes a difference
