What happened to my minor leagues???

I have a newly downloaded OOTP 18. 2 weeks into the season I realize all but 1 of my minor league teams (each with pitching and lineups that I had set) were not playing their games. No schedule available. Each league standings shows no games played. However, upon looking under "Scores" I see games played for the different teams, records shown, but I click on "my" AAA team and find a totally different set of players (with stats).
What is happening and is there a fix?? For now, my minor leaguers are not playing games and not progressing or digressing or getting hurt or whatever.

Any help? Suggestions? What's going on????
