arbitration

stupid Q.....it's arbitration time. if I have a guy I know I don't want to keep....do I just cut him? i think if I make any offer (or offer $0, and he wins), he will have a new contract for the upcoming year. What if I cut him after the arbitration decision? is he still on my books for next year?

Pre-Free Agency Arbitration- You just select Withdraw on the right side of the Arbitration screen. He will be released when arbitration is completed with no money due from you.

you can release them onthat screen, too... if you want ot go after them in FA, though i wouldn't suggest it just in case it affects signability.

sometime i need a roster spot, somtimes it doesn't matter...
